General Inquiries

 

When contacting us for general information such as pricing please include your desired serving size, cake, & filling flavor preference, as well as any design ideas or inspiration photos you may have. We will not be able to provide an accurate quote without this information provided to us.  

 

Booking an Order

 

Orders can be placed anytime up to 1 year. A 2-4 month timeline is ideal to ensure the best availability in our busy schedule. We may be able to accommodate small-scale short notice orders (between 2-4 weeks prior to event date) so feel free to ask, we may just be able to accommodate, but no guarantee.

Consultations & Tastings

 

Wedding Consultation Package: $60.00

1 sit-down tasting session, includes 3-4 cake flavors, 2-3 filling flavors, 2-3 frosting flavors, beverages, and can include up to 2 guests in addition to the Bride and Groom.  

 

Bridal Cupcake Package: $110.00

includes 2 dozen cupcakes in 4 cake flavors, 2-3 filling flavors and 2-3 frosting flavors.

  • When choosing flavors, please refer to our website for flavor options. 

  •  If you choose to book with us for the event, 50% of the sit-down tasting or 'Bridal Cupcake Package' fee will be applied to your event order.

  • Consultations and tastings are by appointment only.

  • Consultations can run between 45 min to 1.5 hours.  

  • Please bring any pictures or inspirational materials for your cake design if you have any.

 

Pricing

 

Many factors are considered when pricing, as each cake is individually priced based on size, flavor(s) and design.

Cake pricing

Typically, our cake base pricing starts around $3.25 per serving. Servings, tiers, flowers, figures and other decorations will have a great impact on price and therefore can only be priced with a final design.

Cupcake pricing:

Typically, our cupcake base pricing starts around $2.25 per cupcake. Please note that although cupcakes can sometimes seem more economical, adding custom work on individual cupcakes can result in a higher price point per serving than a cake.

​

Fake cake tiers:

Fake cakes are also priced based on design, and although they are not edible, they do not reduce in price by much as they take just as long to decorate.

Pick-up, Delivery & Set-up

 

Pick-Up:

Clients acknowledge that we are not responsible or accountable for any damages that occur after the order leaves the premises. Clients agree to follow instructions that are given on how to care for their order upon pick-up and accept responsibility for any damages endured to the order after leaving the premises.

Delivery:

there is a $10 Delivery fee within the town of Stouffville. Delivery to surrounding regions will be determined based on distance travelled. Clients agree to follow instructions that are given on how to care for their order after delivery. Clients also acknowledge that we are not responsible or accountable for any damages that occur after the delivery has been made and accept responsibility for any damages endured to the order after delivery.

Set-up:

Fee will be determined based on size and detail of the order, if required. Set-up and delivery is mandatory for orders over 2 tiers.

Dietary & Allergy Restrictions

 

Honey Bunn’s offers gluten-free, dairy-free, and egg-free cake and dessert options, however, because we do have nuts and other allergens on premises and are unable to control the manufacturing of our ingredients, we do not guarantee 100% nut-free or allergen-free products. All nut and allergen-free orders are placed at your own risk. Clients placing nut-free or allergy-free orders are accepting and understanding that we (Honey Bunn’s/Crystal Lamoureux) cannot and will not be held responsible for any allergy related issues.

A disclaimer must be signed by the purchasing client and is required upon placing the order, or upon pick-up/delivery. If disclaimer is not signed, the order will become terminated and any funds collected will be non-refundable. By signing this disclaimer, you agree that you understand and accept responsibility for any dietary and allergy related issues, and that you are responsible for informing your guests of possible allergens.

A signed agreement from the purchasing client stating that they understand and accept any and all responsibility for dietary and allergy related issues is required upon placing the order, or upon pick-up.

Gluten Free Products

Since we make wheat as well as gluten-free products, we separate bulk ingredients and clean our facility every day as well as sanitize any tools, surfaces and utensils that are needed before working with gluten-free products to prevent cross contamination. You acknowledge that you are responsible for informing your guests of this allergy information, and accept responsibility for any allergy related issues/reactions.

The following ingredients are some of the ingredients used on premises:

  • Eggs –pasteurized whole, yolks & whites

  • Tree Nuts - pecans, walnuts, almonds, cashews, macadamia

  • Wheat

  • Coconut

  • Peanuts

Serving size

 

Serving size will depend on your event setup.  If you have a dessert table you will most likely not need a cake feeding 100% of your guests.  If your cake is the only dessert being served you will need to make sure you have enough for everyone, especially if your setup is not buffet-style and the dessert is being served to your guests. Our standard serving size is a 1"x2" formal serving, but we are happy to accommodate for larger servings.

Deposit & Cancellation

 

A limited number of cakes are made every week, deposits guarantee and reserve a time frame for the making of your cake, and covers the cost of any supplies needed. Orders are NOT booked unless a deposit has been received.

​

  • A $25.00 non-refundable and non-transferable deposit is required to book an order, via cash or EMT only. Remaining balance is due no later than pick-up or delivery, cash only.

​

  • Order payment is refundable if cancellation is made no less than two weeks (14 days) before pick-up/delivery date, minus $25.00 deposit.  All details regarding your order (including flavor, design, size and colors) are due no later than 10 days before your event. Remaining balance is due no later than pick-up/delivery date, cash only. If the remaining balance is not received upon pick-up or delivery, the order will become terminated, payments will not be refunded or be transferable and the cake will not be provided.

​

  • Wedding order deposits are only refundable if cancellation is made no less than four months (120 days) before delivery date.  All details regarding your order (including flavor, design, size and colors) are due no later than 8 weeks (56 days) before your event. Remaining balance on wedding orders are due no later than one week (7 days) prior to delivery date, cash only. If the remaining balance is not received within the allotted time frame the order will become terminated, all monies paid will be non-refundable, non-transferable and a cake will not be provided.

* A signed contract from the purchasing client is required to book wedding orders.*

Extra information

 

Serving platters and cake stands are available to rent. A $10 non-refundable rental fee is required for each platter and stand rented, as well as a $75 refundable deposit which will be returned once all items have been returned undamaged, within 3 days. If any items rented are returned damaged, or are not returned within 3 days of the event, the deposit then becomes non-refundable.​

 

Ribbons, flowers, toppers, etc., can be provided, or you can choose to purchase them yourself and bring them in for us to use.

 

Sweet table set-up is available and charged based on the amount of work required.  Please contact us for a quote. â€‹
